Yellow glazed ceramic ovoid vase with flared neck, marbled decoration. 20th century.
The marbled effect of the vase is the result of the soap bubble glazing technique: the glaze is mixed with soap which is blown to create bubbles that settle and burst on the ceramic, reminiscent of the veins of marble.
